2011

  • eWAY pushes live the Global Business Centre, bringing all merchants on our Australian, New Zealand and UK platforms in line.
  • Leveraging on the global platform, the new Australian Shared Payment page gives international merchants a unified method of connecting to eWAY.
  • eWAY extends into Social Media platforms, with a dedicated page on Facebook to communicate with merchants, partners and friends regarding eCommerce matters.
  • Certification with Elavon completed in the UK, adding to eWAY's list supported acquirers
  • eWAY CEO Matt Bullock named as a finalist in the BRW Entrepreneur of the Year
  • eWAY comes in at number 79 on the BRW Fast 100 for 2011
  • IVR Payments launched, allowing eWAY merchants to have their customers pay them directly over the phone

2010

  • eWAY signs an exclusive agreement with First Data and Standard Chartered Bank to expand into Asia, paving the way for eWAY to accept merchants in India, Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia. More countries in this region will be soon be added, further increasing eWAY's global payment cloud platform.
  • Citibank is added as another option for eWAY merchants in Australia to accept payments online, enhancing the reach of eWAY's payment solutions.
  • eWAY signs an agreement with Google to offer Google products such as Google Adwords directly to its merchant base in Australia and New Zealand, enhancing their ability to grow and succeed online.
  • eWAY CEO Matt Bullock is recognised at the 2010 Online Retailer Industry Awards with the Industry Recognition Award, acknowledging his significant contribution to the online payment industry.
  • eWAY releases it's iPhone Payment application, allowing Australian merchants to accept payments directly through their mobile phone.
  • eWAY completes its link and goes live with additional UK banks including RBS, Bank of Scotland and Chase Paymentech, increasing the range of banks available to UK merchants.

2009

  • eWAY signs an agreement with the major banks in New Zealand to expand its eCommerce solutions across the Tasman by partnering with Paymark and accessing a banking network including ASB, Westpac, ANZ, Bank of New Zealand and The National Bank of New Zealand.
  • eWAY signs an agreement with St George to simplify the process of signing up for an Internet merchant facility, making it even easier for merchants to get started online.
  • The new eWAY Business Centre is launched, with improved usability and functionality, multiple logins with user-defined roles, enterprise reports and dashboard payment analytics.
  • eWAY launches its LivePerson chat service, further improving its ability to give real-time customer service to eWAY merchants.
  • eWAY wins the 2009 CeBIT.au Award for Engineering Excellence, making it three awards in three years at Australia's leading ICT expo.
  • eWAY's CEO, Matt Bullock, launches his twitter feed, follow him at http://twitter.com/mattbullock.
  • eWAY moves to Avaya phone system for its communication needs, allowing for additional functionality such as customised user experiences over the phone, as well as superior tracking and reporting across our phone system.
  • Leveraging on cloud technologies and expanding on our existing partnership with SalesForce.com, the world's leading cloud-based CRM, eWAY launches it's force.com websites. The sites are hosted directly within SalesForce, seamlessly tying in the content served to users with the customer relationship data tracked within SalesForce.
  • eWAY exhibits at the inaugural Online Retailer Exhibition.
  • The new eWAY website goes live, further enhancing eWAY's reputation for online innovation.
  • eWAY exhibits at the BizzOne trade show in Auckland to announce the launch of services in New Zealand.
  • eWAY's CEO Matt Bullock embarks on the ACT Chief Minister's Trade Mission to the UK and UAE, establishing agreements with major banks and suppliers in the UK.
