Launched on March 28, StartUp Britain is a response to the U.K. government's request for an enterprise-led recovery from the private sector, according to Wales Online.
The campaign will deliver support and advice for start-up companies. It promises to provide support to the 270,000 businesses that start up every year in the U.K., notes the media outlet.
The initiative has support from Prime Minister David Cameron, and has gathered backing from international brands such as Barclays, BlackBerry, Microsoft, McKinsey & Co and Virgin Media.
"Start Up Britain will inspire people to start a business who might not otherwise have considered it," Emma Jones, founding member of StartUp Britain, told the news source.
She continues to explain that the organization will celebrate entrepreneurship and accelerate the growth of start-up businesses, that will in turn provide wealth, jobs and entrepreneurial legacy.
The company's website states that it will offer a catalogue of links to informative web resources, offers from its corporate supporters, a mentor marketplace and a calendar of enterprise-related events.
Furthermore, it delivers a benefits package of services for new businesses that includes advertising, marketing, broadband and finance support, which represents more than £1,500 in value.
