The U.K. job vacancy website Bubble Jobs recently announced it is seeing a demand for ecommerce, web and social media experts.
According to the company, the increased demand throughout these industries is due to a growing number of people using social media to communicate worldwide and the use of the internet for products and services.
The website said with the increased social media budgets and statistics revealing that 40 percent of SEO campaigns return more than 500 percent of profit for companies, online businesses are turning to this growing market.
"When we consider that global spending on social media marketing in 2010 amounted to $3.4 billion, and the percentage of marketing budgets allocated to social media marketing is rising year on year, the evidence is clear that organisations across all sectors are becoming more focussed on being present in their industries online," said a Bubble Jobs spokesperson.
With the increased demand for social media and ecommerce experts, companies that offer products and services through their online payment gateways are encouraged to tap into this growing opportunity. Tim Gibbon, director of communications consultancy Elemental, said ecommerce companies must adapt to the social ecommerce landscape to remain competitive with their rivals.
