To target the ever-growing U.K. ecommerce market, the handling and lifting equipment company Lifting Gear UK recently launched a new online store to target consumers in the region.
According to the company, the new site allows consumers to customise their orders by size, models and weight needed for certain equipment. Equipment is available for hire or purchased for customers in the region.
"The new website allows browsing by category of gear and sale or hire requirement as well as incorporating an intuitive user-friendly search function," the company said in a press release.
Also, customers who utilise the direct ordering option to purchase construction equipment and other products will help speed up the shipping process, as well as save them money, the company stated.
Whether its clothes, electronics or lifting equipment, U.K. ecommerce continues to expand as consumers flock to online payment gateways. James Agate, founder of Skyrocket, told Practical Ecommerce that U.S. retailers hoping to enter the U.K. market should update their website phrasing and keywords to reflect the locale.
