Honda U.K. recently launched a new used car stock locator that can be accessed online or on mobile devices. The locator is one of the first applications of its kind to hit the market, using m-commerce technology and innovations to grant consumers access to all of Honda's used stock across its network in the U.K.

The new program aims to provide U.K. consumers with a more engaging online experience by allowing them to share information on cars through social media accounts such as Facebook. Customers will also be able to search for non-approved and non-franchised national used car stock on the application.

The program includes visual tools such as a model carousel viewer to enhance interactivity with the brand and the application. Customers can view the models from different angles, read in-depth product information and engage in conversation directly with the company.

The site offers optimisation features that allow consumers to view choices based on their lifestyles and personal requirements in a vehicle.

Honda launched the car locator just in time, as the HSBC Christmas Spending Survey expects 13 percent of U.K. shoppers will buy their gifts online this year from retailers to avoid the crowded stores and take advantage of the discounts.
